His gutless approach to dealing with the safety in our communities has played havoc and despair in the justice system and whole-hearted heartbreak in the canine world; especially regarding my own loveable trustworthy Registered Pedigreed breed,which he has seen fit to ban, to satisfy his own egotistical notion that he has settled crime in general in the province.
It is not the canine world that is causing our streets to be unsafe; it is the derelict humanity that is allowed to operate without any punishment to suit their actions.
Our presentations at Queen’s Park 2 years ago were totally ignored,along with our proof of 42 years registered with the Federal Livestock and Canadian Kennel Club,showing coast to coast without one complaint being issued regarding behaviour or temperament.Our Staffordshire Bull Terriers (S.B.T.) are known as the Nanny Dog,because of their trustworthy love of children;yet apart from this record, they have been WRONGFULLY CONVICTED.
This is unacceptable and a disgrace to the very justice system that maintains one is “innocent until proven guilty”. It appears that McGuinty favours the “reverse onus” clause which offers that one is guilty if you do and guilty if you don’t!!! There is no merit in this underhanded law which affects all dogs in Ontario that can be seized and put down on the mere whim of a complaint.
The government’s legislation on this theory is unacceptable, as it was created by a dictatorship approach of a closed, non-free vote, which came into effect the moment the last presentation was made.The muzzling, spaying and neutering is fine with me, so long as it’s practiced on those politicians who abuse their office to pervert the justice of Canada for their own benefits.I say, “Shame! Shame on them whose word is not his bond!” I’d rather trust my loveable Staffords and dogs in general…they never let you down, especially when treated by a good owner.
I have had SBTs all my life, and my dear Dad before me; in fact they are my legacy from my dear Dad…a priceless gift.I am the last remaining founding member of the SBT Club here in Canada and I’m very proud of the Club’s record and responsibility.
Recently, I had to bid farewell to my dear old Champion Duchess,
this gentle lady had walked beside me for almost 15 years, a steady loving companion, and it was hard to find the words to express the loss of a special family member.
It is easier to find the words to condemn the actions of McGuinty’s overdue fumbling reign of terror!
I speak for all canines in general, as I make a pledge to my very loveable Duchess, that I will never give up until this cruel legislation is erased from the record, and this Wrongful Conviction corrected, and the ones who abused the Justice System are made accountable for their disgraceful actions.
This legislation has tampered with my Human Rights, and my freedom to own the breed of my choice.This is Canada, Mr. McGuinty (McGuilty) and our husbands fought to preserve our Human Rights.
So I conclude with our breed’s motto…
“Nemo Me Impune Lacessit”
